My philosophy

Four principles carry everything I do – on the mat, in coaching and in constellations.

First pillar

Right breath

We often breathe paradoxically: on the inhale or during exercises we tense up instead of expanding. Yet the breath is our most important source of energy. Conscious breathing supplies body and mind with oxygen and energy, releases fatigue and tension and brings mental clarity. To understand the breath is to hold the key to yourself in your hand.

Second pillar

Letting go

Letting go is closely connected to the breath. It means allowing physical tension, entrenched thought patterns and emotional attachments that no longer serve us to move on. “When you let go, unimagined potential arises within you and in the world around you.” What you release creates space for the new.

Third pillar

Mindfulness

“The strength lies in stillness and in treating yourself with mindfulness!” Mindfulness means sensing, right in the middle of everyday demands, what your body needs – and understanding what truly does you good. It isn't the outside world that sets the rhythm, but your inner listening.

Fourth pillar

Individuality

It goes without saying that in my classes you don't have to do anything. There is no pressure to perform and no comparison – everyone experiences the exercises differently, depending on their history and needs. And perhaps this even holds true: the stranger and more difficult an exercise feels, the more you might need it?

Body, mind and soul in synergy

The four pillars do not work on their own. They interlock like circles that overlap: where body, mind and soul touch one another, the Self arises at the centre – whole, alive and in harmony with itself. It is exactly this synergy that lies at the heart of my work, and it is also the name that carries me: Sinnergie.
