Book review

Tantra is often misunderstood in the West. Diana Sans' book “Dancing with Life” sets that straight: it introduces the ten wisdom goddesses of Tantra – the Mahavidyas – as companions through light and dark.

A non-dual perspective

Tantra describes a worldview in which everything arises from the same essence – light and shadow, joy and pain belong together. Unlike the more form-focused Hatha Yoga, tantric practice invites us to connect, relaxed and lovingly, with everything that is – including our own surroundings and our own feelings.

Goddesses as mirrors

The ten goddesses are like inner figures who accompany us through different phases of life – powerful, tender, sometimes uncomfortable. Whoever engages with them learns to embrace the full spectrum of the feminine. For my Female work this is a wonderful complement.

My conclusion

A warm-hearted, profound book for everyone who seeks the sacred in the everyday and is ready to dance with life – in the light as in the dark. (O. W. Barth Verlag, 2024)

Meeting the goddesses

In my Female work and in women's circles we explore the feminine archetypes in a very practical way. You are warmly invited.
